J. Crew reveals its new Autumn-Winter season women’s collection. Tom Mora was inspired by Peter Schlesinger’s book “Checkered Past,” as well as by the 1970's classics reinterpreting them into J. Crew context. The lineup looks classy. You are going to see here pretty knits, sweaters, matching Fair Isle sweater and skirts combos, pale pink colored leather skirt with fringes, flannel grey colored wide pants, raw hem jeans, etc. Everything looks detailed and bold. Personally, I like the vivid color palette that features vintage inspired classics, as well as pale pink, purple, burgundy, bright yellow and rich blue tones. All in all, if you want your self a sparkling, sophisticated look, then try on the latest J. Crew fall collection.
The team at J.Crew has made casual, elegant style Spring-Summer collection of women's ready to wear outfits with men's and traditional femininity influence. You are about to find here some touches from men's workwear and sleepwear basics, basketball touches, Ibiza details and traditional Latin American textiles. The models sport basketball shorts, slightly oversize indigo-dyed jackets, tunic-length white button-downs, waxed linen sundresses, etc. The showcased looks come with bright colors, eye-catching embroideries and street-wear vibe. The next spring is going to be full of eye-catching and shimmering designs, that are made of innovative and fresh fabrics. The collarless coat looks awesome paired with gold sequined top and cream pale pink knee-lenth tailored shorts.
Tom Mora behind J.Crew womenswear Autumn-Winter collection was inspired by Berlin’s Weimar Republic of the 1920 and 1930's. Next cold season comes with dropped-waist silhouettes, sensual textures, black florals, as well as contemporary, commercial and approachable looks. Models appear wearing velvet sweatshirts, puffer jackets, cropped pants, denim shirts, skinny jeans and cropped denim pants, sweaters featuring flapper fringes and lovely Sophia Webster shoe collaboration (elegant and girlish heels). The color palette comes in burgundy, blue, black, navy, camel and pale pink. All in all, it's semi polished and relaxed collection with a touch of masculinity.
Let's all think about summer and maybe it will come so fast as the New York Fashion Week spring colelctions (which are already ended). Summer is a casual season yet for Tom Mora from J.Crew new spring-summer collection is polished and dressy as he mixed two seaside cultures 20th century summery Venice Lido and laid-back California surf. Models pose in paint-splattered army green khakis shorts and trousers, tailored linen blazers, flippy scuba skirt, trim floral neoprene skirts, ruffled white minidresses and Sophia Webster for J.Crew heels.
Karmen Pedaru appears in the September's high-street fashion brand J. Crew lookbook. She looks sophisticated, elegant and kind of romantic to me. Karmen poses in white studio images wearing denim designs, floral pattern dresses, pants and tops, sweaters embellished with crystals, plaids, quilted jackets and cool, street-inspired accessories like boyish caps, clutches, cross-body bags, sparkling oxfords, pumps and chunky jewelery. These clothes are best for holding summer last days.
Modern Elegance and Aristocratic Touch. J.Crew's womenswear designer Tom Mora showcased his signature embellishments in the latest Autumn-Winter collection. New season is inspired by the trip to Marrakech. Tom Mora offers schoolboy jackets with trim shoulders, coats in punchy tile prints, silk tees with sequined arabesques, crewneck sweaters, tweed suits, natty navy peacoats. Honestly, I felt in love with these jewel details. I would say it's a preppy American sportswear looks with eclectic details.
Wearable and Stylish. J.Crew mens line design director Frank Muytjens was inspired by color-block paintings of Ellsworth Kelly in Spring-Summer collection. This time label offers acid brights and monochromatic dual tones, mixing rugged with clean. Male models appeared in polo shirts and barn jackets to shorts, navy tuxedo jackets, chambray shorts, pastel purple pants, slim and rolled-up jeans, two-button blazers, square-cut sweaters, crumpled barn jackets. Overall, new J.Crew’s men’s collection is about preppy business men who travels a lot and wears only comfortable and bright designs.
Beautiful detailing and Crazy Mixing. Tom Mora and Jenna Lyons behind J.Crew presented their new Spring-Summer fashion show. Everything was superb: bags, shoes, other accessories and of course clothing. Label showcased playful colors and wearable sporty shapes with a modern touch: my favorite brand’s signature mix of fresh prints and sporty boy-meets-girl separates.
Exclusive Collection. J.Crew shares its exclusive collection for this Winter season. Let's take a look, what's so exclusive here. Right, structured silhouettes, knitted pieces, snakeskin printed skirts, cozy coats and gorgeous shoes. It's very feminine and bit business lady's weekend wear to me.
Summer Vibes. The head designer Tom Mora behind J.Crew found his inspiration in his old collection of Time-Life nature books. So, the pictures of insects and flowers and trees played the main role building this new summer collection. I felt in love with these garments, so beautiful and warm, just take a look at collection's hyper-bright palette, all these colors, like pinks, yellows, and greens. I'd like underline that green silk-wool floral print, which looked like a real flora and fauna motif. It's about urban vibes as well, urban exotics if precisely. J.Crew woman dons pajama tops, button-downs, pants with elastic waists and shiny shorts.
