Let's have a look at this tough and feminine Autumn-Winter collection from Guy Laroche. Marcel Marongiu behind the brand offers clunky and streamlined silhouettes. My personal favorites are collection's outerwear pieces that came in the form of shaggy Mongolian sheep fur coats and gorgeous lacquered leather and calf hair designs. Some of the looks make me think about military outfits, thanks to the structured pockets and shiny buttons. The color palette was inspired by the Russian-born French modernist painter Serge Poliakoff works, which included muted army green, brown, black teal, deep purple and cinnamon. Models appeared on the runway wearing long accordion-pleat skirts, floor-grazing sack dresses, boxy tops, thick leather ruffled skirts, lean and cropped pants. Overall, it's modern and tough collection.
Dare to be...these words come in my mind, when I see Guy Laroche Spring-Summer collection's runway show. The spring collection comes with so many interesting designs, starting from silk hoodies to cool sweatshirts, flared miniskirts. That's what I call elegant boy-meets-girl. The next warm season is focused on fabric innovation, fashion-forward volume and streamlined, sleek lines. Marcel Marongiu behind the brand was inspired by Gattaca, Metropolis, and David Cronenberg. You are about to see gilets, box-pleated dresses, yellow billowing and relaxed separates, asymmetrically fastened blouses, coats with boxy proportions, and amazing ankle-bracelet python stilettos. My personal favorites are box-pleated cocktail dresses and sleek overalls. All in all, thanks to high tech materials, Guy Laroche gives us modern luxe elegance for elegant women.
Today we are going to speak about real lady vamp look, as I am going to share with you images from the Guy Laroche Autumn-Winter collection's runway show which was presented during Paris Fashion Week. Label's designer Marcel Marongiu was inspired by German-American actress and style icon Marlene Dietrich and her style of clothing which is voguish, beautiful and very feminine way of wearing masculine clothes.
French fashion label Guy Laroche presents menswear Spring-Summer campaign. Male model Alexandre Imbert tries on sophisticated wear: casual denim wear and elegant tailored suits. I felt in love with these amazing accessories, like sunglasses and watches.
