Jacqueline Picasso Inspired Outfits In Creatures of the Wind Resort

Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters behind Creatures of the Wind presented resort collection. Designers were inspired by the style of Jacqueline Roque (the muse and second wife of Pablo Picasso). Gabier and Peters like the way she was cool. Personally, I am so in love with such specific source of inspiration. The whole collection is relaxed, luxe, featuring wallpaper florals, biker style details and easy silhouettes. You are going to find A-line skirts, strapless dresses, floral pantsuits, jacquard coats, crafty cotton cashmere T-shirts, etc. We see nods to Picasso's cubist work with collaged floral prints and striped composed of pieced-together rectangles.

Preppy And Polished Clothes In Creatures of the Wind Pre-Fall

Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters behind Creatures of the Wind named their latest Autumn-Winter pre-collection “Space Is the Place.” The pre-fall season features polished, preppy looks that are ideal for work, casual street walks and laid-back weekends. The duo was inspired by the late 1950 and early 60's Italian industrial design and pre-psychedelic age. If you want yourself something eccentric and original, then I highly recommend to try on one of these preppy looks. All in all, Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters offer us somewhat psychedelic, sophisticated and wearable collection of women's transitional apparel.

NYFW: Creatures of the Wind Autumn-Winter Reay To Wear Collection

Masculine and sporty. Shane Gabier and Chris Peters behind Creatures of the Wind present new Fall-Winter women's collection, which was called "Candy". Love these straightforward and simple silhouettes, shiny stripes, artificial-feeling fabrics and quirky materials. Models appeared in interesting colors, including orange and heathered pink with Swarovski embroideries. What I like about the whole collection is that every garment looks wearable and classy with a nod to 1970's vintage sophistication. My favorites are sturdy peacoats, square tunics, tapered pants, boyish jackets, Japanese military wool pleated skirts, drop-waist A-line shifts, boxy ivory tops, plaid varsity jackets and leather slipdresses.

Creatures of the Wind Spring-Summer RTW

Haute Couture Shapes. Shane Gabier and Chris Peters behind Creatures of the Wind, revealed their vision of spring-summer fashion. I’d say it’s a mix of Paris 1960’s haute couture shapes of the 1960s with American style ease. I adore the colors of this collection, like blue brocade, candy pink, marigold, green and python-prints. Models appeared in ballooning shape dresses and boxy jackets, long fluid skirts, tulle-covered jacquard bustier tops, shirtdresses embellished with Swarovski crystals, double-skirted bottom in pink jacquard, wide-leg chambray trousers. Overall, it feels the strength of femininity in sculpted couture-y volumes.
