Relaxed Dandy Girl appears in the latest Creatures of Comfort Fall-Winter fashion show which was showcased during New York Fashion Week. Label's designer Jade Lai was inspired by the movie Clue. Models appeared on the catwalk wearing lone backless gowns, short-sleeve fuzzy mohair tops, oversize coats, chic and plaid separates, standout shawl collar swingy car coats, high-collared capes and flatform shoes. I personally love the plaids, soft colors and oversize style, which give a cool down town appearance to the looks. All in all, it's an eclectic, practical and vintage-inspired collection with thoughtful styling.
Let's take a look at Creatures of Comfort Spring-Summer collection's runway show, which is all about the beach vacation. The fashion show followed many looks, that can be worn now. Label's designer Jade Lai showed us girls who wear relaxed silhouette, breezy, carefree island clothes. Here you will see loose pants, relaxed and oversized white shirts, simple shift dresses and other easy and comfortable styles. It feels like we see 1960's girls who wear easy classics in neutral palette. My personal favorites from the show are white strapless dress, long, mustard yellow shirtdress in polka dots and gold roomy shorts. Love the relaxed vibe of the looks, that features clean and structured shapes.
Comfortable and Sculptural. Designer Jade Lai behind Creatures of Comfort was inspired by Louise Bourgeois’ art, rich textures and cagelike prints in her latest Autumn-Winter casual womenswear collection. Love that sculptural backdrop of Jade's every creation. Models appeared in boxy separates, quilted jumpers, flouncy terrycloth skirts, boxy topcoats, nubby cotton T-shirts, mididresses, boxy shifts, button-ups.
