Japan, Europe, 1970's, 1980's, Pokemon, Star Wars, faux furs, gigantic voluminous roses, Guy Bourdin works...it's all about mash-up craziness from Alaverdian fantasies. I feel the great force of her creations. You are about to see muted warm color palette, awesome silhouettes (remind me of traditional kimono and Princess Leia from Star Wars dresses), Chewbacca-shaggy fake-fur overcoats, elegant cloaks embroidered with geometric shaped fluffy faux fur inserts, fit-and-flare dress-coats with elongated sleeves, ensembles and tops printed in hieroglyphs.
