Anthony Vaccarello revealed his sophisticated women's clothing collection during Paris Fashion Week, which consists of amazing short dresses, relaxed tailoring looks and biker inspired outerwear. The next cold season is inspired by 1980s Tony Viramontes illustrator's expressive, graphic works. I personally love the way Vaccarello managed to cover his girls in layered looks, but the legs are covered with nothing. Models appeared on the catwalk wearing great outerwear options, including long satin evening jackets, patent bombers, motorcycle jackets, shearling collar overcoats, shearling cut jackets, leather dresses, cocktail ensembles. The color palette is dark and delicate, consisting of black, white, gray and red. You can feel that special 1980's vibe in the presented silhouettes, as we see pants with pleats, expressed shoulders.
Anthony Vaccarello once again presented a collection of hard-edged sensual looks. New Autumn-Winter collection is polished and provocative, as it consists of industrial feel garments. Vaccarello mentioned word “mechanique” backstage, and pointed that “It’s the idea of something that brings a masculinity to something that’s so soft.” Anthony Vaccarello took the silhouettes from the 1960's, as it was tailored, straighter and the 1990's lean androgyny. Models appeared on the catwalk wearing evening dresses inset with embroideries of silver discs, ladylike, short coats, neat small jackets, coats with chain-link embroideries at the cuffs, cowlneck pullovers, blouson dresses with dropped waists, asymmetric skirts and second-skin pants. I personally like that new emphasis on outerwear, leather separates, and knits.
