The woods was a strong influence for Alberta Ferretti in her latest Fall-Winter collection, as she imagined animated woods, where the nature covered woman's body. Thanks to decorative elements, luxe embellishments and heavy textures you can feel ethereal touch and extravagance of expensive handwork. The color palette contained the dark forest colors, including green, rustic brown, ivory, black, orange, gold. During the catwalk show models amazed guests with striking gold brocade jacquard which was seen on many looks, while the favorite ones for me are black swan inspired balletic dress, voluminous green coat with a large fur hood and felted alpaca dresses. The accessories came with wildlife charm, just look at those peacock feather flats and suede sandals, simply opulent. That's really powerful collection, which includes next cold season's trendy embellishments, like floral appliqués, sequins, feathers.
Let's welcome dark glamor pre-Fall collection of women's transitional clothing made by Alberta Ferretti. The next pre-season was inspired by by Josef Hoflehner’s photographs of Icelandic landscapes and marine theme, so you are about to view dark sea, strong storm and night sky inspired looks. The models pose in beautiful and romantic jacquard coats, sequined tops worn with silk duchesse skirts, peacoats, sailor pants fluid dresses, feminine denim pieces with luxe embroideries, like dark denim jeans, chic fur coats and eveningwear essentials made of gold Chantilly lace, chiffon, tulle and duchesse. Indeed, this is a modern-day princess collection.
Please welcome Alberta Ferretti’s spring-summer collection's runway show which was presented during Milan Fashion Week. Italian designer showcased a folkloric collection which consisted of pretty looks that featured ruffles, lace and floral prints, seems like folkloric overload. Models appeared in vivid color goddess-like gowns, floral-bedecked cropped tops, tiered skirts, floor-length dirndl skirts and cat-eye sunglasses. I like that kind of romantic touch and the Southern Italy-meets-South America theme with old school femininity vibes.
Alberta Ferretti presents a chic nomad resort collection of women's transitional garments with eclectic touch. Look how professionally Ferretti has mixed up tribal motifs with safari references and animal prints. It looks like these clothes were made specially for a trip around the world, as you can find here fabrics from different countries. Models appear in A-line tunics, little black-and-white skirt suit, shift dresses, silk shirtdresses, distressed vintage like leather biker jackets and vests, cropped pants, signature feminine dresses and evening gowns, like sheath dresses, softly draped, off-the-shoulder dress. All in all, it's feminine, luxurious and real ease.
Alberta Ferretti showcased new Autumn-Winter collection during Milan Fashion Week, which was all about house' signature silhouettes and authentic looks. I personally find these looks a bit of private-school uniform and Victorian inspired. Models appeared wearing peplum jackets, dusty black dresses, black velvet jackets, skating skirts, sleeveless plaid shifts, high-collared coats, buttoned-up blazers, short dresses, fitted blazers and velvet Mary Janes. All in all, the silhouettes of new Autumn season look strong and clear.
Italian label Alberta Ferretti showcases its Autumn-Winter collection's campaign which features fashion model Mariacarla Boscono. Mariacarla appears in label's sophisticated looks with ladylike silhouettes. Love these beautiful and feminine embroidered outfits which are perfect for autumn evenings.
It seems like Alberta Ferretti has collected all her trip experiences around the world in one particular resort collection. New pre-season comes with safari elements, urban silhouettes and cocktail- evening pieces. Here you will find dresses, jackets and tops with animal print cal hair, long jacket and suit with mosaic silk jacquard, flowy white stretch candy skirt with lace detailing, black long chiffon dress with floral embroidery.
Light, Clean and Geometric. We all know Ferretti for her romantic and ultra-feminine designs, there was no change in pre-Fall and demi-couture collection yet with a bit of minimalist and more contemporary touch. For the next pre-season Ferretti was focused on geometric silhouettes, like classic lightweight chiffon dresses, short-sleeve ribbed sweaters, cropped tapered pants, peplum tops, fox-fur shrugs, minimal boatneck tops, masculine tuxedos, ruffled silk chiffon blouses. The demi-couture range came with architectural shapes, including silk satin bustier and column gowns, floor-length printed chiffon skirts, streamlined radzimir strapless dresses and chiffon floor-length frocks.
Urban Evening Looks. Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti new creative director Natalie Ratabesi showcased a youthful touch (with cool feeling) ensembles in label's pre-Fall collection. Model sports 1920's inspired cocktail dresses, party girl looks, tailored coats, delicate beaded drop-waist dresses, pleated skirts, cozy knits, long dresses with ruffled flounce and chic outerwear.
Ultra Masculine versus Feminine Shapes. The latest Alberta Ferretti by Philosophy Spring-Summer fashion collection of women’s designs were shown in the famous and historic Plaza Hotel. Ferretti was inspired by her visit to Canepa, the Italian firm. Models appeared in fitted frocks, high-waist pencil skirts, spaghetti-strap dresses, tailored suits, button-down shirts, short shorts, ankle-length trousers, pyjama styles, strapless frocks. Love these stripes, floral prints, dots and colors like light blue, reds, cream, purple, burnished gold, powder blues, lilacs and dark nudes.
