Please welcome Thom Browne Spring collection's runway show which is all about military processions. During the Paris Fashion Week there was a march of American fashion designer Thom Browne's soldiers, who appeared with bold red lips, aviator sunglasses (in gold frames and lenses).
So, let's take a closer look at the collection's outfits and headwear. Male models appeared in feminine shapes, like straight skirts, tailored outerwear, jacket dresses, tailored military jackets, relaxed pleated trousers, fitted shorts, corset-laced vinyl coats, military visor hats, metal accents and lean white gloves.
As Browne says: "I love uniforms and this has been on my mind for a while." The whole show reminds me of Michael Jackson History song, quite the same theme, isn'y it? I personally find these outfits more toy soldier like.
If there wouldn't be red lips and feminine wardrobe pieces then collection looked too much masculine and tailored, yet it's fashion and Browne made it eye-catching and strong, nevertheless it's not practical. I personally like the color palette of bright red, white and blue.
