Inspired by 1940's. Korean designer Juun.J Spring-Summer menswear collection mostly found his inspiration in 1940's and moved by Akira Kurosawa’s Japanese film Drunken Angel. Male models were like post-World War II gangsters dressed in shapely silhouettes with militaristic stance. Here are shown fitted jackets, voluminous trousers, bomber jackets, field jackets, jersey-cut sweaters and other loose-fitting pieces. What I find really impressive in this collection is the silhouette, some pieces come with exaggerated shoulders and large shapes, that creates a modern feeling. Overall, it's collection of monotone ensembles almost like uniforms, yet with streetwear influence.
