This time I want to share with you Brioni's latst Spring-Summer season's collection. Brand's creative director Brendan Mullane was inspired by the 1950's Hollywood styles and streamlined Italian tailoring. The real inspiration comes from brand's early American movie star customers, including Henry Fonda, Richard Burton and Cary Grant. The tops have boxy shapes, while the bottom comes in tapered, slightly cropped styles. Mullane collaborated with Los Angeles-based photographer James Welling, showing Welling's complex and colorful flower photographs incorporating them on suits and shirts. We see sleek Italian tailoring, classic jackets and blazers. Love the houndstooth plaids, herringbone weaves, and Prince of Wales checks. The color palette feature fuchsia, blue, grey, dark navy and bright green. You will find here lots of formal and semi-formal basics, which are ideal for contemporary businessmen.
I love this printed bomber.
