Cecilie Starin Interior Design combines street art with luxurious details in her new Street Soirée dining room. I love the way she brings the outdoors in with murals by San Francisco and International Street Muralist Ian Ross. The dining room juxtaposes raw street art that is updated with glamorous and bright design.
San Francisco based designer Cecilie Starin made this gorgeous interior thanks to her collaboration with San Francisco-based artist Ian Ross (his work appears in the offices of tech companies such as Facebook and Google). The black and white iconic mural comes with, abstract repeating patterns of ocean waves and wide flora that adorns the room's walls. The room features accessories and furnishings made by local craftsmen.
Speaking of furnishings and accessories, then we see here a gilded Cecilie selected elegant furnishings to create an environment where urban street life and upscale glamour collide. A gilded Louis XV style mirror that hangs above the fireplace, as well as a pair of Ian Ross’ “Spray Can” sculptures made from recycled aerosol paint cans, classic Louis XVI chairs in black patent leather, Groundwork Group tree and root base dining table.
The result comes with a great combination of modern, classical and natural elements. The following interior can be viewed at 2015 San Francisco Decorator Showcase (3630 Jackson Street). It will be opened from April 25 through May 25, 2015.
